We have tried several plain L.E.D. type dog collars on our very own dogs, and they don't seem to last for more than a week. A dog will scratch it, get it wet, or if you have several dogs, they will chew on each other's collars. As a result, the L.E.D. lights typically stop working . The battery caps will be easily opened, water gets into the battery compartments, and the L.E.D. ceases to function.

After studying and testing several different kinds of flashing dog collars, here is what we present to you and your dog at the Battery Barn. Our flashing dog collar solves all the common problems with the other dog collars. The battery compartment is tightly secured and water resistant. The light in the collar has four modes- On, Slow flashing , Fast flashing, and Off. It uses two CR2032 batteries which can light the collar up to 200 hours (The batteries are included and installed). Even if your dog chews through the collar, the light will continue to stay on. Here is the warranty policy for this collar.
